"Bed Bugs from Outer Space!"
Tells the story of a flying saucer that lands in the backyard of a suburban home the day of a Halloween party.
An inquisitive wiener dog finds the saucer, gets infested and innocently transmits the parasites through body contact to the houseful of partygoers.
The first victim is the party host's ne'er do well biker brother who transforms into a vampire and attacks and kills his slutty girlfriend while having sex.
The next victims are 2 naughty girls who ransack the house while the host is away. One raids the wine fridge and the other uses the homeowner's personal bathroom. The biker brother vampire and the slutty girlfriend vampire attack the 2 naughty girls, who in turn become vampires and attack the rest of the party.
The party host returns to find his house in chaos with blood and body parts strewn around the house. The party host traps the lead naughty girl vampire and forces her into a life of indentured servitude until she pays for all of the damage done at the party.
We are nearing completion of the editing process and would love some horror punk songs. Something in the vein of the Cramps or the Dead Kennedys to add energy to the movie.
The film is very good and is destined for the film festival circuit.Check out the trailer and the latest developments on the movie

Brett, I just went to the Facebook page and checked out the photos and the video intro. Looks like some rockin', low-budget, campy fun! Best of luck with your celluloid beast...er...'digital' beast. Once you're finished editing, the real work begins: Promotion!
We've had songs on several low budget movies over the years and I've met a lot of indie filmmakers at the conventions we've done. From what I've seen, it seems like the real test of mettle comes after the film has been released. A lot of filmmakers release the DVD and think they're done. It's cool that you've already got a plan and are going to submit the film to the festivals! Don't stop there, though. There's SO much more you can do with your film!

Permalink Reply by The Quintessentials on December 14, 2011 at 5:09am Here's a track of ours to consider, called Bloodlust.
Cool songs! Bloodlust reminds me of old Bad Religion around the No Control album.
