Pic: Eddie Izzard Gets Fitted for Grandpa Munster

This week has been heavy with a lot of "horror on TV" updates, eh? We'll continue this streak with a small update on Mockingbird Lane, the reboot of The Munsters that's in the works at NBC. Showrunner Bryan Fuller took to his social networks (Twitter/Facebook) to share with his fans a look at actor Eddie Izzard during a wardrobe fitting as Grandpa Munster.

Izzard co-stars in the upcoming series with Jerry O'Connell, as Herman Munster, Mason Cook, as Eddie, and Mariana Klaveno as Lily Munster. Charity Wakefield plays Marilyn - the less monstrous family member.

Bryan Singer is directing the pilot episode of the series.

I wanna know (besides NBC and Bryan Singer) who thinks this is an excellent cast and a good idea to do this show?

I think it will be crap. Actually it will be the crap that was on your shoe but is smeared all over the 'Welcome' mat now. #nbcsucks #boycottnbc

I love Eddie. I am curious to see this.....I'm not exactly happy about the idea, but ill give it a shot. I just hope Eddie doesn't let his normal English humor influence the role.
