A television spot from The Thing is here, heralding the storm of publicity the prequel is going to get between now and October 14. The film tells the story of what occurred to a Norwegian outpost in Antarctica when something is discovered in the ice. A precursor to the events that transpire in John Carpenter's 1982 film...also called The Thing.
