- Phantom Maximus is the ancestor of Thee Wild Wraith.
He was born in ancient Rome, and went down into Egypt town to check out a few pyramids. There he died, after being bitten by a rabid cobra. His body was preserved with 13 secret herbs and spices. His spirit rises in the modern age to play music so barbaric and primitive even his distant shadow-spawn Thee Wild Wraith finds it shocking and uncouth!
100s of years of being trapped inside thee olde haunted shack has left him a demented old spook. He now hates rhythm guitar and only uses super distorted bass and lead guitar. All songs must be 1 minute or less.
Other incarnations include Thee Wild Wraith who plays lo-fi garage punk, Von Dooms and Ghosts Run Wild.

I have been playing horror music since 1999. I have 16 vinyl releases out and around 8 CDs, plus appearances on lots of comps. I did the music for the horror movie "Damned". I have been on Reanimator Records, Valiant Death Records, Tri-Lobed Burning Records and Dirty Ugly Records.
I'm currently on Grim Ghost Records, ONEC Records in the UK and Stencil Trash Records in Germany.

The 1st Phantom Maximus 7 inch "Rex Deus Spiritus" is due out in a couple of weeks. This will be followed up with an album out on ONEC Records in early fall.
Thee Wild Wraith is mostly non horror garage punk. Ghosts Run Wild is the pure horror stuff.
