Bio:: RAMPIRES is a wild mixture of blasting punkrock-drumming, a venomous slapping stand-up bass, massive guitars, a dirty sax and catchy melodies that take every crowd by storm.
This band from Munster, North-Rhine Westphalia (Germany) - describing it`s own style as Psychopunk - crosses the scenes and combines elements of Psychobilly and Horrorpunk, spiced with some Metal riffs. Founded in autumn 2003 the Rampires won fast a reputation as a terrific live band.
In August 2005 their debut album “Kamikaze Attack” was released by Crazy Love Records, the same label that also published the band’s second release “Bat Taste” in 2006. Between recordings the Rampires played numerous concerts all across Germany and abroad together with bands like U.K.Subs, The Meteors, Mad Sin, Deadline, The Bones, to name only a few. Their third album, titled “Bat To The Bone” was released by Psycho T Records in 2009.
Over all the years, the band has never stopped to refine their individual style and presents itself with a breath-taking live show now stronger than ever. In 2012 the Rampires are going to present their new album "Bat Boys Never Die" – a long anticipated release and definitely a reason to get excited.

RAMPIRES ist eine wilde Mixtur aus peitschenden Punkrockbeats, einem treibenden Kontrabass, fetten Gitarren, dreckigen Saxophoneinlagen und eingängigen Melodien, die auch nach wiederholtem Hören nicht ihren Drive verlieren.
Die fünfköpfige Band aus Münster (NRW) bezeichnet ihren Musikstil selbst als Psychopunk und verbindet dabei szeneübergreifend Elemente des Psychobillys, des Horrorpunks bis hin zu einigen Metalriffs. Im Herbst 2003 gegründet, erkämpften sie sich schnell einen Ruf als lohnenswerte Liveband.
Im August 2005 erschien das Debütalbum „Kamikaze Attack“ bei Crazy Love Records, wo auch 2006 das Folgealbum “Bat Taste“ veröffentlicht wurde. Nach zahlreichen Konzerten im In- und Ausland (u.a. mit U.K.Subs, The Meteors, Mad Sin, Deadline, The Bones, etc.) folgte dann 2009 über Psycho-T Records der dritte Streich mit dem Titel „Bat To The Bone“.
Die Band hat über die ganzen Jahre hinweg ihren individuellen Stil weiter entwickelt und präsentiert sich mit einer schweißtreibenden Live-Show stärker denn je. 2012 wollen sie nun ihr neues Album „Bat Boys Never Die“ vorstellen und man darf auf ihre neuen Werke mehr als gespannt sein.
