punishing...fast changes, whirlwind, pounding guitar rhythms...brutal drums - Maximum Rock n Roll
Blurring the lines between punk, metal, grind and thrash Murdersquad t.o were formed in 2000 by Mike Abalienation of New Yorks Abalienation. Enlisted into the ranks are Wounded Paw (Spazmz, Ulcer) on bass, Bets (86ers) on drums and rounding out the sonic fury, Oscar Squad (Freedom Denied) on guitar. Named after D.O.A.'s hockey team, Murdersquad t.o have one foot set firmly in thrash and the other in grind, making for shredding exercise in brutality. Karen from the Spazmz makes a guest appearance on Rising Crust, contributing vocals to two of Murdersquad t.os songs, including the bands cover of Nauseas Here Today.
To keep the chaos running they have toured in the United States and Canada and played with such luminary acts as Despite (U.S.), Strong Intention (U.S.), Cripple Bastards (Italy), Hands of Death, Squalor, Hellbound, Inepsy, ...And the Saga Continues (all from MTL), Fuck The Facts (Ottawa), Arsenals (On), UK Subs (UK), The Casualties (U.S.) and many, many more.
They were also the hired guns for Crust Legend John DOOM's only North American tour!
