Come in, come in, its been a while.....

Well guys and ghouls, welcome to our little festering corner here on the interweb. And what a corner it is. A corner that seems to get bigger and bigger almost everyday. Here in the dungeon however, we have every intention of making it just small enough for you to feel our festering breath on the back of your neck......

2011 has been one hell of a year for us. The beginning saw us supporting Rezurex and Fightback, bolstered by favourable reviews of our E.P 'Deadmen Walking'. The…

Setlist: Christophe - 09-29-2011 Main Street Cycles, Shawnee, OK

Drove over to Shawnee for the jam at Main St. Cycles. Didn't hang around too long cos we had to get back to Norman. Mostly just dicked around and played some punk stuff and some partial songs... couldn't decide what I felt like playing. Casper joined me for a few on drums. Good times.

Horror Punk Is Turning Into Horror Metal

I absolutely adore Horror Punk. It is my life. I have a serious problem with the direction of Horror Punk, though. It seems like Horror Punk is slowly turning into Horror Metal. The tempos are getting slower and slower each day. I hate to say it, but Horror Punk is going to get boring very soon if this doesn't stop. There needs to be more Horror Punk bands that actually play a Punk style. Let's put the Punk back in Horror Punk! ♥

"The Closet" by Dusty Fleischman

“The Closet”

Her death was the hardest thing for our family to bear. The title, the patriarch, as often been applied to mothers. That was what our mother was to the Singleton family. She was the perfect wife, the perfect mother, and the perfect friend. She was loved and…

Setlist: Christophe - 09-26-2011 SWAN Songwriter's Showcase #13, Norman, OK

Tonight was fairly cool. It was a live broadcast which is still weird to me, this only being my second one, but this time done over the internet instead of on television. I sat down with Daddy Love and played a few of my numbers and talked a little about them, then he went on and played a few that I requested of his.…

Setlist: Christophe And The Prairie Fire - 09-21-2011 Bang Bang, The Hidden Castle, Norman, OK

This was our monthly opening slot for Bang Bang. This was the best one yet. There were a lot of people hollering and calling out songs. Had a blast. First show to test out how we sound without a drummer. Went over well. We will be doing that for some gigs in smaller venues and still using drums for others.

Setlist: Christophe And The Prairie Fire - 09-16-2011 Bill's Bar, Norman, OK

Finally got to play Mr. Bill's, shortly before they close down. Had a fun time. It was quieter than usual for a Friday night, but still a decent turnout. This was also Isaiah Harrell's last night playing drums for the Prairie Fire. We did two sets.

Good night tonight. Rowdy had a little get together at his shop, Main Street Cycles in Shawnee. Live music, BBQ and beer. Casper was up doing his thing when I arrived. I got up for a short set with Shorty and Doc Johnson backing me up. It was good times that I wished had lasted a little longer.

Setlist: Christophe And The Prairie Fire - 09-10-2011 Red Dirt Emporium, Oklahoma City, OK

"Live Music On The Canal" is an all day event put together by my friends from Gwinner Studios. Around 30 or so music acts all performing outside on the Canal in Bricktown. It was a fun deal... I played a little early for my tastes, but we still had a good time. Three different venues along the canal had music going on the…
