Launched in April of 2011, Skeleton Crüe is an emerging subculture lifestyle and apparel company. Inspired by horror, tattoo counterculture, and comic books, Skeleton Crüe not only offers the hottest trends in cutting edge fashion, but also boasts its very own television channel – Skeleton Crüe TV – and an impressive lineup of endorsed artists, including tattoo sensations Rachel Napier and Tony Trip.
“We’re not just selling merch, we’re selling a New World Order,” explains Skeleton Crüe founder, Rev. Jay Leal, who admits that he originally created the sinisterly stylish company to fill a void in the horror community that he always found incessantly frustrating. “I wanted Skeleton Crüe to become the final and most definitive word in horror. It started out super cult-y but, since then, we've been lucky enough to expand our influence into other realms as well. Most notibly, Skeleton Crüe now encompasses two of my favorite things in the world; tattoos and comic books. So we're still a cult, make no mistake," he laughs, "We're just a bigger and more stellar cult now."
In addition to the prolific filmmaker, the Skeleton Crüe counts, amongst its corporate assets, tantalizing model and multimedia artist, Cali Ford. Together, the duo has vision to expand the company into several new realms over the coming months, including a line of high fashion couture, an exclusively-made signature micro brew, and – on a larger scale – concert and convention sponsorships.
