GREETINGS: Welcome to the New Horror-Punks.com
Greetings fiends and foul ones, Marquis here. Your hostess with the mostest.
I just want say to a few things about the new Horror-Punks.com.
The old Horror-Punks site, an off shoot of the World Horror Network (which I have been a part of for the past 8 or so years) was nice but there was little or no interaction. It was what it was. You set up your profile and that was about it. Sure you had music, news and videos but that was basicly it. You saw what was happening but there was little or no interaction. With being a wing of the World Horror Network, there was no actual networking. When the news came that we had to act fast to keep this site going I wanted to do something a little more, with every member to be able to interact with every other member, with every artist. With every facet of the site. Posting reviews, releases, news, booking shows, everything. Remember, A network works only if people use it to network. So here you have it. A site where everyone has an impact on it. To communicate, interact and build networks (and friends).
The site is by all means not perfect, but neither are we... HA HA HA
I do ask just one thing, please use common courtesy. We may not all think alike, look alike, have the same beliefs or have to agree with everything that is said or done. It's ok to disagree but don't act like an ass or air out your differences here. Either in the chat, comments or PM's. You have a problem with someone, de-friend them, don't write them/comment them. Just walk away. This isn't the place for that. And take it easy on the profanity. This site is for all ages. Just take it easy on the "F" bombs and such. I swear like a preacher so believe me, it ain't easy but if I can do it, so can you. And please, no rasict, sexist or homophobic bullshit. It will not be tolerated and you will be dismissed, no questions asked.
One more thing, Only up-load music, videos & pics that you own or have permission to use. You can add a widget of other peoples music. You can embed a video (click on the youtube symbol underneath the upload option, copy and paste) from anybody on the planet but just don't upload it unless you own it or have permission and give credit (and links) where credit is due.

Videos, Blog, Photos, Event Listings (You never know who will see it), Groups (The Main Network and purpose of this site), featuring groups for posting reviews (Movie, Book, Music), band/club contacts, Interviews, Trade Stuff, Sell Stuff, Give Stuff Away, Tour Dates and more. And of course the live chat and the Girls of the WHN. Meet everyone on here and chat with them directly or privately. You can also access the WHN without leaving the site. Stay up to date with the latest news as it happening, just click the tab in the upper right corner. We also have a site search (search for members and band, videos and such) and the Alice Cooper Search (and win).
