Overthrow - No Turning Back (A Punk Concept Album)

"Overthrow" is a concept album fueled by hardcore punk anthems.
It was released on limited edition vinyl in 1996. 500 copies were made.
Side 'A' was the story and music as it was meant to be heard. Side 'B' was just the music.

The record also came with a pin that said "Freedom for All", A poster of the people involved, and a text adventure game (in DOS) that used clues from the album to help the charactor "overthrow" the government.

There were songs written and recorded for "the prequeal" 'Safe Haven' but the script was never recoded and the music was released on a CD that was pressed in 2006.

It tells the story of a fictional charactor "Rick Foster" and the disenchantment he feels with his country. He rallies the people and a succussful coup has overthrown the goverment. But history repeats itself, as he becomes as bad as the people he removed. The story is told by news stories through the pacifier of the people... Television
